A morning with the pattern-cutters who shape every FELENI piece.
Where a dress begins
Every FELENI dress, co-ord set and swimsuit starts as a flat pattern on paper. Before any fabric is cut, the pattern decides how a neckline sits, where a waist falls and how a skirt moves when you walk. It is slow, precise work, and it is the part of fashion most people never see.
Cutting for real bodies
A good pattern is tested and adjusted many times. The shoulders are balanced so a strap stays in place, darts are placed so a bodice follows the body without pulling, and hems are weighted so a maxi dress falls cleanly. Each size is graded carefully so the fit feels considered in every size, not only the sample.
Fabric changes everything
Linen, satin, crochet and cotton each behave differently. Linen is crisp and breathes in summer heat, satin pools and catches the light, and crochet needs room to stretch. The same silhouette is often redrawn for each fabric so that it drapes the way it should.
The finish you can feel
The last details are the ones you notice when you wear a piece: clean seams, neat hems and closures that sit flat. They are what make a dress feel quietly luxurious, and what let it be worn again and again.
Find your fit
Read the fit notes on every product page, save your measurements in your Fit Profile for a size recommendation, or see a piece on you in The Dressing Room before you order.
