What to Wear in Mykonos: A Considered Packing List
Beach days, long lunches and late nights: what to pack for Mykonos without overpacking.
Mykonos is bright, windy and social. Your wardrobe should be light, easy and ready to go from sand to dinner.
For the beach
Two swimsuits, one cover-up that doubles as a dress, and a wide-brimmed hat that will stay on in the meltemi wind.
For long lunches
Linen dresses and co-ord sets are ideal: breathable, relaxed and polished enough for a beach club table.
For the evening
Dinner starts late. A fluid midi or slip dress with flat sandals handles cobbled lanes far better than heels.
Practical notes
The wind is real. Choose skirts with some weight and bring a light knit for boat trips and cooler nights.
